Over many years we have been blessed with the opportunity to appreciate the very best food and wine that South Africa and the world have to offer. During this time we have accumulated both the knowledge and experience to recognize the difference between good and great wine.

Finally, we had to conclude that, “a great wine is conspicuous by its perfect balance which is aromatically harmonious, pure, powerful, and above all, complex.” Given these criteria we then set ourselves the challenge of creating a wine that lived up to this benchmark.

Tasting Notes: The wine has a sleek and elegant nose with currant and fresh earth aromas. The mouth feel is well structured with red cherry, dried sage and leather flavors. Typical Bordeaux style with elegant silky texture, firm round tannin structure with a long lingering finish.

Pairing Notes: Goes well with most foods especially red meats and lamb.
